Benefits Plus of Pennsylvania was founded in 2004 by Ric Tkac, who serves as President. Ric previously was a District Manager for Physicians Mutual Insurance Company and a top selling Account Executive specializing in the small businesses with 2-50 employees with HealthAmerica/HealthAssurance. Ric also spent some time in the financial field with The New England Company. With the well rounded experience and training received in these positions and hours upon hours of research, it was clearly apparent that no one company offers the absolute best products for every sector of insurance. The company set out to acquire licensing to represent only the industry leaders and their products in health, life, dental, vision, medicare supplement and disability income insurance, and did precisely that. Annuities and mortgage protection were added later after studying those products and how they could help clients and future clients. The company goal is saving clients significant money on their insurance needs without reducing the current coverage and in best case scenarios, enhance coverage while saving the client money.

The goal has been achieved, as the company slogan proclaims, “We keep more money in your pocket.” Our clients experience savings of between 25 and 45 % on their benefits cost without reducing their benefit coverage.
